Mike and Laura, reknowned blues teachers from Austin Texas will be =

swinging (or bluesing!) by to see us, fresh from teaching at Swing =

Patrol's upcoming "Blues Before Sunrise" exchange in Melbourne.

*Workshop 1: Blues Body Movement*
/9.45am - 11.00am/
In this class, Mike and Laura will go over the technique of effortless, =

expressive body movement. This will improve both your ability to move =

yourself naturally and musically, and move / be moved by your partner.

*Workshop 2: Blues Partnering*
/11.15am - 12.30pm/
In this class, we will combine some of the solo bodywork from the =

previous class to form complete partnered movement. This will have an =

emphasis in partner communication and connection.

*Workshop 3: Listening & Responding to your Partner*
/2.00pm - 3.15pm/
This class will deal heavily with follower input. By the end of this =

class, followers and leaders should be comfortable with creating and =

molding a connection-conversation within the dance.

*Workshop 4: Musical Modification*
/3.30pm - 4.45pm/
This class is all about taking what you know (and have learned earlier =

that day) and molding it to fit your partner, the music, and your mood.
